At SimYog Technology, we are redefining how the automotive and semiconductor industries approach Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Compliance Simulation.
If you’re passionate about engineering innovation and love solving complex EMI/EMC challenges, we’d love to hear from you!
About the role:
Overview: As a subject matter expert, you will drive the technical adoption of our simulation platform across global accounts. You will be responsible for defining technical success in EMI/EMC simulation for automotive and semiconductor customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer engagement: Lead deep technical engagements towards EMI/EMC simulation for different hardware configurations by establishing simulation methodology, correlating software results with physical lab measurements and suggest and validate design changes towards failure mitigation.
- Product Strategy: Collaborate with the founding engineering team to influence the software roadmap, ensuring it addresses emerging industry needs like AI-augmented analysis.
- Standards & Compliance Leadership: Act as a “Trusted Advisor” on compliance-aware design, helping clients interpret simulation data against strict regulatory standards (e.g., CISPR, MIL-STD, ISO).
- Thought Leadership & Documentation: Author white papers and conference/journal publications; mentor junior AEs on delivering world-class technical support and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: PhD or Master’s with 5+ years of experience in Computational Electromagnetics or analysis of EMC/SI/PI.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in 3D electromagnetic (EM) simulation for EMC/SI/PI.
- Expertise in SPICE modeling and its interaction with 3D/2D EM solvers.
- Deep understanding of Power Electronics hardware topologies (inverters, batteries, motors).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/MATLAB) for automating large-scale simulation workflows.
- Soft Skills: Business acumen and communication skills necessary to navigate technical roadblocks at the semiconductor, Tier-1 and OEM executive levels.
